Workplace Investigations

A large proportion of our work is involved with workplace investigations.

Cases handled are related to both criminality and malpractice:

  • Fraud
  • Theft
  • Intellectual Property Theft
  • Assault
  • Criminal Damage
  • Health & Safety
  • Moonlighting
  • Discrimination
  • Harassment
  • Victimisation

Allegations of malpractice in their various forms or crimes of a more overt nature, with theft and fraud among them, can leave many organisations wondering whether or not they should pursue criminal, commercial or civil litigation. Whatever the threat, it may well have serious repercussions; negative publicity can damage a company's reputation, impacting on shareholder and public confidence, which ultimately can affect profitability and market share.

HR professionals may be called on to deal with a situation but they are likely to be fully utilised in day to day activities and additional workloads may lead to a lack of preparation both in investigating an allegation, as well as prior to the investigative interviews themselves.

An external investigator may have questions, lines of enquiry, resources and expertise that might not have been thought of or available internally. It is these types of skill that require out-sourced expertise to obtain the necessary proof to determine an allegation, particularly if the matter were to eventually go to Court or Tribunal.

Our team of investigators and security experts have many years of experience and understand the issues and concerns faced by employers in today's business environment. Working closely with Human Resource departments, legal teams and senior management, Linx International conducts objective inquiries cognisant of potential disruption to your organisation's operations.
