David Gill formed Linx International Ltd in 1987, following a successful career in the Police service. Linx International provides security advisory services to a wide range of organisations. David’s particular expertise is in Crisis Management (Planning & Response) and investigations of malpractice and criminality in the workplace.
David is a Fellow and former Vice Chairman of the Security Institute, he is the Registrar of the UK’s Register of Chartered Security Professionals and was one of the first ten Chartered Security Professionals to be admitted to the Register. David has lectured on a variety of security disciplines at leading universities. As a member of an expert advisory group David has contributed to the drafting of the National Occupational Standards for Security Consultants. David has had a number of articles and guides published and he has given evidence as an Expert Witness at the High Court.
David holds an MSc in Security Management and is a qualified trainer in a number of Security disciplines.

Director of Operations
Gavin McCormick is a highly experienced security professional. In 1990, following a 5 year career in the credit industry combating fraud, Gavin joined Linx International – initially specialising in fraud investigations and due diligence work.
Gavin is now Director of Operations and over the years Gavin has led many major commercial investigations for some leading organisations and law firms. He continues to manage overt and covert investigations and direct major projects, whilst providing operational support and managing security logistics for the secure transportation of high-value loads for a global electronic consumer goods business.
Gavin is qualified to conduct employment vetting and security screening to BS7858, and is a member of the Security Institute.

Angus Darroch-Warren is a Director of the Linx International Group, a role he took on subsequent to a police career in South Africa and employment as an independent security consultant.
Focusing on compliance, specifically in relation to security & risk issues, he has conducted numerous malpractice investigations, security and risk reviews and written security programmes in industries ranging from food & drink, education and healthcare to transport and parking.
A qualified trainer, Angus designs and delivers training programmes both in the UK and internationally. In particular, he has developed a BTEC Level 4 Professional Award in Workplace Investigation and Interviewing, believed to be the first of its kind in the UK. He has written and presented on the subject of investigation in a number of commercial and educational forums.
Angus has a Bachelors degree in Economics and French and an MSc in Security Management from Loughborough University. His research project evaluated the effect of privacy laws on commercial sector investigations, while his dissertation analysed the potential impact of proposed regulation on the private investigator sector. Angus was the recipient of the 2010 Wilf Knight Award and a runner up in the 2011 Imbert Prize.
Angus is a Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) and a Fellow and Director of The Security Institute. He was a member of the working group that developed the criterion for the Register of Chartered Security Professionals and is an assessor on the Register’s panel.
